WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF VIRGIN AND REMY?
“Virgin” means the extensions are guaranteed to be unprocessed, free of any hair color or chemicals; retaining all cuticles in its original healthy state.
“Remy” means that all cuticles of the hair are guaranteed to be in the same direction.
This means no more hair tangling problems.

WHAT DOES THE TERM “WEFTED” MEAN?
Wefted hair is hair used for weaving. It is sewn or bonded (with special bonding glue) into a track/braid ready for the weaving process. A weft looks like a curtain or hair stitched together along the top.

CAN I DYE THE HAIR EXTENSIONS?
Yes, Essentially Her Hair Collection’s human hair extensions are dye friendly and can be dyed or toned by a professional colorists to get the hair color desired.

HOW MANY BUNDLES SHOULD I PURCHASE?
Based on customer feedback and expert advice from stylists, to achieve fullness we recommend at least:
• two bundles for lengths 12 to 16 inch
• three bundles for 18 to 26 inches
• four bundles for 28 to 30 inches.

Essentially, you will always need 2-4 bundles or more depending on desired fullness.

DOES THIS HAIR SHED?
Any hair that has been manufactured to be stitched on a weft is entitled to experience minimum shedding which is absolutely normal. Minimum shedding means the hair will be never have a noticeable or drastic decrease in its density or volume with proper maintenance. Proper maintenance is extremely important and advised.

CAN THE WEFT BE CUT?
Yes. Our wefts are reinforced and made by a machine. They can be cut without unraveling. We do not suggest cutting the weft but if you choose to we advise sealing the wefts with a weft sealer.

WHAT TYPE OF HAIR CARE PRODUCTS SHOULD I USE?
Treat this hair like it is your own hair. Use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. Conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable. We recommend using a deep conditioner on your virgin hair once per week, but avoid using oil or heavy styling products.
Caring for virgin/raw hair is no different from caring for your natural hair. Our hair is the closest you will find to your natural hair.

Basically you can do anything with it; curl, color, brush, comb, and flat iron it to any style just like your natural hair. If you are not familiar with coloring hair please take your extensions to a professional colorist!!!
